Are the cushions smaller at the back?

Our cushions for dining chairs, patio chairs, and industrial tolix chairs are wider across the front and taper to a narrower width at the back. The back of the cushions is curved, also known as U-shaped. The width between the ties is approximately 5" narrower than the width across the front of the cushion.
