Flat Pads
Barnett does make flat pads for customers who prefer un-tufted cushions with a slim profile. Our flat pads are filled with a sheet of polyurethane foam instead of latex foam. Therefore, our flat pads are not machine washable and are not guaranteed to retain resilience or last as long as latex foam.
Gripper Cushions
Gripper cushions typically have latex dots or ridges that adhere directly to the fabric on the bottom of the cushion. We do not sell gripper pads because we feel this method shortens the usable life of the cushion without offering a safe long term solution to keeping the pad in place. Based on years of experience, we believe a cushion with ties paired with a sheet of gripper shelf liner or rug liner under the cushion provides the best benefits of both methods with none of the drawbacks of gripper cushions.
Memory Foam Cushions
We do not make or sell memory foam cushions. Our latex foam fill is different from, and better than, memory foam. Latex foam lasts longer than memory foam and is a better cushion for seated posture (as opposed to laying down). Many of our customers also have health concerns about memory foam.
